I have to acknowledge your letter of the it ultimo, forwarding copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong respecting the Engines, and Boiler of the Steamer "Retoria", and in reply I beg to offer for Graville's consideration the following observations thereon

2. The only information the Crown Agents had to guide them in this matter was contained in the Enclosures to your letter of the 5th December last, from which it appeared that the Vessel for which the Machinery was required was to be employed
